Year 6 Enjoy Inspirational WOW Day at Cliff Park High School

Year 6 pupils shine during an action-packed secondary school experience

Our Year 6 pupils recently enjoyed a fantastic visit to Cliff Park High School for an exciting and engaging WOW Day, designed to give them a taste of secondary school life.

Throughout the day, the children took part in a variety of activities across different subject areas. In Woodwork, they showcased their creativity and practical skills while working on hands-on projects. During PE, pupils demonstrated excellent teamwork, determination and enthusiasm as they embraced new challenges and activities. The day concluded with a highly enjoyable Cookery session, where children developed their culinary skills and created some delicious treats.

The pupils were a real credit to our school, displaying exemplary behaviour, curiosity and a positive attitude throughout the visit. It was wonderful to see them stepping outside their comfort zones, building confidence and engaging so positively with new learning experiences.

Visits such as these provide valuable opportunities for pupils to experience life in a secondary school setting, helping to make the transition to Year 7 both familiar and exciting. The day also allowed children to explore new subjects, meet staff and gain an insight into the wide range of opportunities available at high school.
