Computing

Ormiston Cliff Park Primary Academy follows the National Curriculum to teach Computing.

Vision:

At Ormiston Cliff Park Primary Academy, we believe that computing is an essential part of preparing children for the world of today and tomorrow. Our computing curriculum inspires curiosity, creativity and confidence, empowering every child to become a responsible, capable and innovative digital citizen. Through engaging learning, children develop the knowledge and skills to understand how technology works, to create with it purposefully and to use it safely and respectfully. We encourage problem-solving, logical thinking and collaboration — skills that reach far beyond the computer screen.

Our curriculum ensures that children will learn how computers and computer systems work, be able to design and build programs and develop their ideas using a range of technology within different contexts.
