At Ormiston Cliff Park Primary Academy, our aim is to create a learning community where learning for all is fun, to develop a culture and environment of challenge, where achievement, at all levels, is valued and celebrated. We believe in creating a safe, happy and healthy environment where children can feel positive about themselves and the school. Everyone is encouraged to value and respect one another and the environment. Through our broad, balanced and creative curriculum we ensure high standards of teaching and learning that enable all pupils to reach their full potential.
We are committed to providing teaching and learning experiences that are enjoyable, challenging and relevant to the needs of each individual.
Pupils have opportunities to learn independently and to develop their own creative ideas, and celebrating success is essential to our school family. Indeed, we seek to recognise and celebrate all successes (both inside and outside of school).
We are a values-led organisation, and it is our aim that we continually challenge ourselves to adhere to the spirit of the Ormiston Academies Trust values.
We strive to develop the following skills and values in all children:
We are proud that our aims tie-in closely with our sponsor’s aims and mission:-
It is our aim that we continually challenge ourselves to adhere to the spirit of our values:
We believe in celebrating success in all areas of the lives of our children. We do this as a whole school, through such things as promoting good attendance, themed challenges, Golden Book Awards, Reading Star of the Week, Maths Star of the Week, Class Star of the Week and Team Marbles . Each class also celebrates successes daily through the use of stickers, certificates, phone calls, photographs and in many other ways.
