Year 3 Norwich Castle Visit

Pupils enjoy a fun-filled, hands-on learning adventure

Our pupils had an unforgettable adventure at Norwich Castle, diving into the incredible world of Ancient Egypt!

From hands-on activities to fascinating discoveries, history truly came alive! The children learned about everyday life in Ancient Egypt – farming, food preparation, and even ceremonies for the dead. They uncovered the secrets of mummification and explored the steps of making a mummy.

To top it off, everyone examined real and replica artefacts and created their own stunning Egyptian-style jewellery inspired by designs worn thousands of years ago!

This trip was packed with fun, learning, and creativity – our pupils returned buzzing with excitement and ready to share their new knowledge in class!
