An Autumn Adventure: Learning and Playing Together

Our Nursery children were delighted to welcome their families to a recent Stay and Play session, where they enjoyed exploring a variety of engaging autumn-themed activities together.

Throughout the session, the children enthusiastically investigated seasonal treasures, developed their creativity through hands-on experiences, and explored the colours, textures and features of autumn. It was wonderful to see the children so actively involved in their learning while sharing these experiences with their families.

Stay and Play sessions provide valuable opportunities to strengthen the partnership between home and school, while supporting children to build confidence, communication skills and independence within a familiar and enjoyable environment.

The afternoon concluded with everyone gathering together to share an autumn-themed story, followed by a seasonal song, creating a warm and memorable end to a successful session.

We would like to thank all the families who attended and helped make the event such a positive experience. We always enjoy welcoming parents and carers into our Nursery and look forward to sharing many more special learning opportunities throughout the year.
