OCPPA welcomes PC Carroll

Informative Road Safety assembly delivered to children

Last week, we were fortunate to have the local community police officer, PC Carroll, attend school to lead on our assemblies. She discussed Road Safety and always being aware of who is around us when we are walking on the streets. Wearing a hoodie or listening to ear phones can restrict our awareness of others so we must ensure we are always alert and only wear hoods when necessary especially near the busy roads in our community. It is always a pleasure to have PC Carroll attend our school as her assemblies are very informative and reminded us of many ways to keep safe.
