Year 3 visit to Norwich Castle

Ancient Egypt

Year 3 visited Norwich Castle to learn more about their current History topic: The Ancient Egyptian Civilisation.  The children examined genuine artefacts, learnt about the mummification process, designed their own jewellery and used drama to learn about everyday life during this era.  The children thoroughly enjoyed the day and have extended and deepened their knowledge and understanding  of life as an Ancient Egyptian!
