RNLI visit Years 1 & 2

Informative morning for pupils

Year 1 and 2 were joined by Mr Cadmore to share his expertise as a volunteer for the RNLI. The children learned about the different ways that the RNLI can help people, the different types of vessels used and identifying dangers around the coast and rivers. From his visit the children now know:

-to always try to a beach with a lifeguard
-to always swim between the red and yellow flags
-to float like a star if you are struggling

Mr Cadmore has encouraged the children to spread this message and help to keep everyone safe around the water- well done Year 1 and 2!
