Inter-House Fitness Competition
Celebrating Fitness, Teamwork and House Spirit
The final week of term concluded with our much-anticipated Inter-House Competition, giving pupils the opportunity to apply and showcase the skills they have developed throughout this half term’s PE unit.
This half term, children have been focusing on Fitness, exploring the key components of physical fitness and understanding how they contribute to a healthy and active lifestyle. Through a range of engaging activities, pupils have developed their agility, coordination, balance, power, stamina, strength and speed.
During the competition, children competed in a series of timed two-minute challenges, earning points for their House teams. The event provided an excellent opportunity for pupils to demonstrate their physical skills whilst also displaying teamwork, determination, resilience and sportsmanship.
It was wonderful to see all children participating with such enthusiasm and encouraging one another throughout the challenges. The competition was a fantastic celebration of the progress made during the unit and a fitting way to end a successful half term of learning in PE.
The results have now been collected and the overall winning House will be announced when the children return after the break. We look forward to celebrating their achievements and congratulating all pupils for their outstanding effort and participation.
