Year 5 Globetrotters Enjoy Visit to Gorleston Library
A Library Adventure!
Year 5 Globetrotters enjoyed a fantastic educational visit to Gorleston Library this week. Thankfully, the weather remained dry, allowing the children to walk to and from the library and appreciate the local community along the way.
During their visit, the children were treated to a reading of Bad Hair Day, a story that sparked plenty of laughter and lively discussion. They also took part in an informative session introducing the many services and resources available through the library. This helped the children gain a greater understanding of how libraries support reading, research, learning and leisure opportunities for people of all ages.
The visit was a valuable opportunity to further promote a love of reading and highlight the excellent resources available within our local community. Throughout the experience, the children demonstrated exemplary behaviour, enthusiasm and engagement, representing the academy with pride and maturity. We are grateful to the staff at Gorleston Library for providing such a welcoming and enriching experience.
