Biggest EVER football session

On Friday 8^th March -International Women’s Day- we were part of #LetGirlsPlay The Biggest EVER football session. It has since been reported that over 465,000 girls took part across the country on this day.

It is the FA’s and Barclays ambition for girls to have the same opportunity as boys in both school and clubs.

Every girl in the academy had the chance to try their hand at some different skills and games aided by the sports captains.

While this was happening, a Q & A session with two of our staff members (who have been professionally involved in women’s football) was also taking place with both the girls and boys football teams.
